We are excited to offer an Online Local Issues Intensive in collaboration with The Countdown Project. This exciting multi-day intensive will give womxn candidates and leaders an opportunity to engage nonprofit and community leaders, with a hyper-local focus on New York City policy.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates and emerging leaders who are seeking to build upon and expand their knowledge of hyper local issues and policy -- particularly as it relates to governing through a racial equity lens in a post-pandemic reality.
Participants will come away from this program with the following benefits:
- Opportunity to engage with policy experts, nonprofit leaders and elected officials from across the five boroughs

- Increase comfort level with engaging on key topics outside of personal experience or expertise
